The goals of this workshop were to introduce the concept of communities of practice and provide an opportunity for rethinking the work of HNLC.

Yukawa, J. (2005, March). Online mentoring toolbox. Presented to Hawai`i Networked Learning Communities mentors of the Advanced Technology Research Branch, Hawai`i Department of Education. The goals of this workshop were to: (1) provide information on mentoring and telementoring, (2) provide an opportunity for mentors to begin to define their roles as mentors and develop a working model of a good mentoring relationships, and (3) provide opportunity for mentors to begin to shape the mentoring program goals, support structure, and evaluation.
